I have made a wise and sane and normal and non-dorky purchase. 1986 box set, TSR.

Whaa?! White David Hasselhoff-looking Nick Fury? SO WRONG.

I can get behind Ultimate-style Samuel L. Jackson Nick Fury, but for the stupidity and camp of an ‘80s pen and paper RPG, The Hoff is probably better RP inspiration.
It’s all a question of, which was actually in Kung Fury... and The Hoff wins by default. If sessions are going to be somewhere between Reb Brown’s Cap and the Hoff and heroes are going to be on that level of budget and competence...

My grandmother bought me and my brothers this when we were way to young to figure out the rules. We painted the figures with model paint and calvinballed the hell out of it.
I’m gonna have to check with my brother to see what condition it’s in.

It retails for $$$ these days in good condition. This set was missing a standee or two and the dice, but the books, character sheets, map, etc. are cherry. Paid >$80 for it, or about what I paid for my CoC investigator handbook and keeper book.
